Internationally recognized expert in cement and construction materials. Her research develops more sustainable cementitious materials to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry. Lead developer of LC3 (Limestone Calcined Clay Cement), an innovative low-carbon cement based on limestone and calcined clay.

The Low Carbon Construction Association (LCC Association) is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the decarbonization of the construction sector. It brings together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders to promote innovative low-carbon building materials and practices, with a particular focus on reducing emissions from cement and concrete. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and support for research and demonstration projects, the Association aims to drive the adoption of sustainable construction solutions and contribute to a significant reduction in global greenhouse gas emissions.
